We wanted to take some time to give a shout out to some of our PhD students in this post.
The District of Columbia Sociological Society (DCSS) will begin a new initiative this Fall with its “DCSS Reporter” project. In conjunction with restarting its publication, The Sociologist, DCSS will feature work by its members who have been named DCSS Reporters. Reporters are expected to cover and write at least one feature on a subject covering: (1) What sociologists are doing in Washington, DC. (2) A topic of concern or interest in DC that is understudied within sociology. Three of the PhD students in our program have been selected to serve this Fall as DCSS Reporters.
